A MAKE-UP ARTIST AT WEDDING

Every wedding comes off as beautiful and flawless. Everything from the decorations to the venue, from the food to the clothes- weddings are awesome! But there are people who work tirelessly behind-the- scenes to make this day so special. More often than not, we tend to overlook these people and their importance! For example, the makeup artists. Especially those of the bride. Can you imagine the magnitude of her work’s importance? Everything about the bride must be perfect, right from the contouring of her face to the way her hair falls on her shoulders. And such is the artist’s dedication that we remain mesmerized by the beauty of the bride. Moments like when the artist is capturing the tone of the face, or when she is lining her eyes… bringing out their beauty… these need to be captured with a tender touch so as to bring out the essence of true talent. At MGA we believe that capturing such moments of work and beauty is of immense importance in any wedding album. We aspire to be skilled at such rarity and give you the pleasure of aesthetic value to your eyes !

MAKE UP ARTIST – SHRADDHA YADAV

Being a professional make-up artist, it all started for me from makeup designing and trials for the wedding. The interesting part that I found about this wedding was that Akshata’s mother wanted her to look like a South-Indian bride with a Maharashtrian touch! So after deliberation and careful understanding of the bride’s and her mother’s wishes, we decided to settle for a traditional South-Indian bridal look with a Maharashtrian nath completing it! She wore a beautiful peony-pink and yellow saree with silver and gold prints.

After this natural and glowing look, we planned and executed poppy-blue eye makeup with wine red lips which beautifully complemented her stunning reception lehenga, which gave it an over-all playful and youthful appearance. It was a contrast colour- combination.

On the wedding day, doing hair and makeup with perfection becomes very hectic and turbulent, but I would like to thank Akshata tai and her family for such hospitality and cooperation. It is a marathon to finish the job beautifully in 2-3 hours, as there are so many aspects of the bride to take care of! After Akshata, came the groom. Yogesh did not need much- just a soft hair-do and a touch-up of the face.

Akshata and Yogesh are a caring and loving couple, a Bindass Mundi and a Vadaa pyaara Munda! I wish them all the best for their future married life!
